'What's Happening in Mackay' gives community groups the opportunity to speak on air about activities their group has held, or what future activities they have planned. The program also encourages self help groups, and other volunteer organisations, to share information.
If you are a member of a community group, educational outlet or any other organisation, and would like to reach the community with information about your organisation, please contact the radio station.
This program is also an ideal arena for people interested in a career in the media to develop their interviewing skills.
